Description
PolarStat Plus™ frozen section embedding medium is a proprietary formulation of water-soluble glycols and resins, providing an optimal specimen matrix for Mohs cryostat sectioning, and bonding the specimen securely to the specimen chuck. This formulation freezes at optimum cutting temperatures of -10°C and below. No residue is left on slides during the staining procedure, thereby eliminating undesirable background staining.
